Hindersmässan

Last week was Hindersmässan again, but due to work I only had a little bit of time to go, until the weekend, where I could take a bit more time. I started working full-time after new years. It's been swallowing up most of my days, but with shit costing more and more... well. Makes sure I don't spend too much time drawing once I get home, I guess, now that I can draw again. I kind of have a habit of getting too absorbed into it and working even while in pain, which, in this case, is not a good idea, if I ever want my hands to stop hurting. Considering the doctors don't know what's wrong with them and they've told me they won't do anything now. I just gotta wait it out, eat the meds that stop my fingers from tingling, sleep with braces on, and that's about it.

Doctor put an 'official' diagnosis on me for something I don't think is accurate, just cus I had one of the symptoms (hypermobile thumbs), and that was apparently good enough for her.

Okay, now I'm just rambling, that wasnm't what I was supposed to tal about.

Anyway, Hindersmässan.

I ended up rebuying some of the food I bought last year (smoked bloater, gáhkku and sea buckthorn sauce). Even went back for another bottle of sauce for my grandma, after she asked me to when I told her I'd bought some for myself.

I didn't spend a lot of time on the market during the week, since it's been both cold as hell and cus I came pretty close to closing, so several stalls had already packed up for the night. During Saturday I had more time though, though I only spent about 30-45 minutes outside, since, well, it was still freezing. Is now, too.

I shared a little bit of the fish with my cats, they went nuts over it, especially Njord.

On Saturday I actually had the time to go to a stand I'd been eyeing during the week, I ended up ordering what was adverticed as a 'waffle lollipop' - think cakepops but longer and made out of waffle. It of course, looked nothing like the picture. Definitely false advertising, a bit, but at least it tasted decent.

Also ended up with a mozarella corndog a little bit later, though they might as well have skipped the stick cus it was so thin, it didn't really hold it up at all. I'm glad it also hade a paper container. Got a bunch of chili sauce with it too. Didn't bother with photos at that point, I admit, my fingers were too cold. I did, uh, get warmer fingers though, cus I literally had to eat the corndog with my hands. Tasty even with how messy it was, though. Definitely got a lot of bang for my buck on that one, even if it got messy because of it.

Also bought some candy. From my understanding, peppermits/candycanes are a holyday thing in some countries, but in Sweden we have a whole town that's famous for them, and they're not as associated with the holiday here. If you're in Sweden and wanna go watch people make peppermint candy (or polka pigs as they're called here), go to Gränna.

The yellow ones are elderberry flavoured, the pink wild strawberry. Supposedly, I thought the wild strawberry ones tasted more like vanilla, also. The elderberry ones are delicious, a little sour, very sweet. Will buy those again at some point.

I'm gonna update my Hazbin art pages soon, got a few more drawings done, some of them WIPs I finally got to finish. I need to take a break for a lil bit again though, my hands are sick of me again. Still learning to balance how much I can draw.
